Our mission
SOL OBSCURA exists to create a shared space for reflection, imagination, and connection under a rare celestial alignment.
We gather beneath the eclipse to explore the relationship between science and spirit, light and shadow, self and collective. Through art, inquiry, and presence, we build community in cosmic time — a moment both ancient and immediate.
Our inspiration
SOL OBSCURA was born from a desire to mark time differently — to gather not around commerce or spectacle, but meaning. As the eclipse approached, we felt called to create a container where our community, creativity, and curiosity could align beneath one sky.
This is our offering: a moment out of the ordinary, shaped by the shadow of the sun and the light we bring together.
